SOCIAL BOXES

Living forms, imagined through texture, colour, and construction.

Elizabeth Bahnmiller-Brown is a mixed-media artist whose work explores the intersection of science and mystery through biological abstraction. She uses both traditional and found materials to create detailed, colorful, and richly textured paintings, drawings, and sculptures, many suggesting living forms that often resist definition.

She holds a BFA from RISD (including a year in Rome) and an MFA from Arizona State University. After a 27-year career in fine art education, she now lives and works in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally, including in New York, Rome, and Fort Collins.
